Columns element and background section editor in WordPress 4.0

WordPress 4.0 includes some great improvements to the default content editor, some of which require updating the themes’ functionality that works with the editor to be compatible with the new changes. The update introduces a few minor compatibility issues with older versions of the themes:

• Columns buttons not working properly (Porcelain and Story themes)
• Background section content editor not resizing when it contains longer content (Mineral, Porcelain and Story themes)

We have released updates that fix these issues, so if you are running an older version of the theme, all you have to do is to update the theme to the latest version in order to get these issues fixed:

• Mineral – version 1.4.1
• Porcelain – version 1.2.1
• Story – version 1.3.0 (the fix has been implemented since version 1.2.1)

You can either use the theme’s automatic update functionality to install the update or you can download the update from the Downloads section of your ThemeForest profile. You can read more about how to update the theme in the “Updates” section of the documentation.
